— Not counted in TCS™, but just as important (imo):
- Pace of Play: SLOW! It was busy; however, it cleared out on the back.
Another good time with my brother. #trending
Played a twilight rate on a chilly Oct day on this track that I don’t recall playing but that Johnny says I have. *insert shrug emoji here* Got there early and hit some balls, checked in, and they told us they’d call us and tell us which cart to take (given Covid19 protocols); had to go back in a couple minutes after our tee time to ask, “Oh yeah, uh, you’re all clear on #1.” Thanks for calling us guys.
We played #1 with no one at all in front of us, and then caught a group on #2. Foursome that looked like a father, his son, and two younger players they’d been paired with. They were playing so SLOWLY, reading every angle of every putt, taking turns based on who was away, not who was ready. Mozzying over to their ball across the fairway. I’m gonna start bringing a BB-gun to tag people playing like this, I swear! Needless to say, play stacked up behind us for miles and miles! Luckily these four ass-hats didn’t make the turn. I like this course. It’s VERY narrow. Thankfully I was striking the ball very well, except for on the last hole.
Design is solidly above average, conditions were solid, staff were meh (see above). Overall, value was good.
