- Pace of Play: SLOW! Sunday morning is likely one of the more busy times; and, it is busy!
Another good time with my brother, his friend Josh, and Josh’s dad, Curt (I think that’s the correct spelling?)!
The track is well kept; greens are in great shape. Staff are friendly enough. We got off at 7AM and thankfully got out in front of everyone. We caught another group on the back at 10-11, these were some of the most unaware idiots I’ve been stuck behind. They were taking forever! To the point that the gap between us and the group behind us, and behind them, etc etc etc began to fill in with waiting. Curt had had enough and yelled at them to let us play through on the green of #15. We sprinted down 16 and had at least a 20 min gap behind us. Why do so many golfer suck when it comes to etiquette? Slow play is the worst thing about this game. A petty problem to have, but it truly damages my calm!
All in all, this isn’t a bad track; I just don’t have a lot to say about it. Lots of mature tree growth and some decent variation with the holes, though it does feel a bit, “up and back, up and back.” At $30 for a walking round on a weekend, it’s a decent round, but nothing to write grandpa Tom Morris about.
