Commentary:

This is a great course. I really enjoy the design. Lots of variety, elevation changes, interesting holes. No two holes feel like a repeat. A couple of the par 3’s were just “okay,” but overall this is a really nice round of golf and well worth the drive out to BFE. I would not recommend using a yellow ball on 9. The range is right behind the hole and they use yellow balls. I hit my second shot using a yellow ball, it went long and could not find it on 9 above the hole. Frustrating! The greens had just been aerated and sanded when we played, and they used gravel (no joke!), plus they didn’t offer an aeration discount: boo! Knocking a couple of points off for this. During perfect conditions this course is near a 9.0, but not on the day I played. Staff are nice, and value is high, unless it was recently aerated.
