Commentary:
I know a lot of people love this course, but for whatever reason I find it slightly underwhelming. I one shot a 78 here, and on that day I felt that same. I don’t know what it is, it just doesn’t blow me away. Keep that in mind when reading and reviewing my TCS™ for Kampen.
Nice links style course, which also means the rough is, well, rough. If you miss the fairway, even by a few feet, you have likely lost your ball. This is especially true during the peak play time when the rough is long and lush.
I have played Kampen many times. It is a very challenging course, but it offers some interesting holes with some very nice looks over the natural bog that it was built around. GolfNow rates make this course very attractive indeed!
