Commentary:
Nice course. The first few holes felt just “okay” maybe a bit above average, but as you get further away from the clubhouse the holes improve. I really liked 6-8, 11-14, and 17, with either 6 or 14 my favorite hole on the course. Conditions are well above average, but the fairways were a bit chopped up. The man in the clubhouse was very nice. I got through my round at The Grand Bear so quickly that I was about two hours early, he got be right out, even scooted me in front of a couple foursomes that were about to go out. THANK YOU, sir! At $80+ it is above average on value given the niceness of the course, but still a bit on the pricey side for a round. I wouldn’t pay that again to play this course.
