**Currently this course is an 8 but homes are going up all around it which will bring the layout and looks down in my opinion.
After spending time down at BYU Dad and I drove to the other side of Utah Lake and played Talons Cove.
This is a links style course running along the lakeside. I really like this course! The only thing I didn’t like are the homes that are starting to fill in around the course. I dinged one into the houses on 17, took my penalty, and got on with my second attempt. I am NOT a fan of homes along fairways! However, other than the homes I really like this course.
Some great risk/reward holes on this course (e.g., #7, #9, #16).
A memorable moment was Dad sinking about a 170-yard shot on par 5 hole number 7. He hit a solid shot, tracked right to the pin, rolled up the green, and went in. However, this shot was to make par, rather than an eagle or better. Nonetheless, it was a great shot!
