Commentary:
Originally, I intended to play this with my pops on a father/son golf outing exploring northing Idaho and Washington. My pops isn’t in the best of health these days and had to cancel on me last minute, but since I had booked a hotel in Spokane using expiring hotel points I had to keep my reservation. Another solo round it is!
For a muni this course is well above average! The course presents an interesting challenge/view from the first tee box as you look over cliff edge to the fairway and green below. 18 tfinishes with a bang by featuring a par five that plays over Latah Creek to a green that is half way back up that same opening tee shot cliff. The layout is almost a 7, almost. The conditions are a solid 6, again almost a 7! Staff were nice, but the guy behind the counter seemed a bit clueless about how to get me off before a ladies league started in the next 45min. He finally let me go, and once I got going I never saw any of the ladies out there. At like $30 for 18 and a cart the value is well above average!
